Disaster Response Volunteers

Volunteers in vulnerable communities are on the front lines facing the impact of climate change and the devastation that so often accompanies storms of increasing strength. Volunteers from abroad also respond to natural disasters and remain in communities to rebuild and prepare.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) alone has 12 million active volunteers ready to respond to disasters of all kinds.
