Empowering Farming Communities in Ghana

In Ghana, the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) is committed to empowering communities by providing them with various resources, opportunities, and skills. Cocoa Life Ghana is helping enhance the abilities of farmers so they can help to improve the issue of low cocoa production. This training for farmers is quite extensive (e.g., improving the farmers’ financial literacy and supporting the development of cooperatives). Additionally, they are dedicated to increasing the opportunities available for women and young people. Grace received VSO-led training on business skills and nutrition and went on to teach 30 other members of her women’s group.
