Nuclear Disarmament

Efforts to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss are especially relevant to the prohibition of the use or testing of nuclear weapons.

Vanda Proskova is a nuclear disarmament activist and lobbyist who serves as Director of the Gender, Peace, and Security program of PNND (Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament) in the Czech Republic and volunteers as Vice-Chair of PragueVision Institute for Sustainable Security, a registered non-profit non-governmental organization.
