Skills Based Support for Clean Water

In collaboration with government, partners and volunteers, Water For People helps provide communities, families, schools, and health clinics in Cuchumuela and San Pedro with access to reliable water service.

Also, through research, reports, and sometimes visits to the field, the organization’s World Water Corps volunteers help create and adapt organizational strategies such as alternatives analysis for addressing high fluoride levels in groundwater, remote GIS support and in-person training to Water For People monitoring and engineering staff, translation of key programmatic documents to increase the exchange and learning, and assessment and recommendations for rehabilitating non-functional wastewater treatment plants in small towns in Bolivia.
