Training Refugees for Job Interviews

United Way the Netherlands (UW-NL) and Salesforce ran a professional training program for displaced persons for the last few months of 2021. So far, 35 selected refugees have participated in the program. Salesforce employees volunteered to train participants in interviewing skills, network building, and presenting. Both refugees and volunteers expressed their gratitude for this program, and UW-NL could not be more thrilled with the initial results.

Ahmad, one of the participants, offered his sincere thanks to both UW-NL and Salesforce: “The atmosphere of the training sessions was very friendly, and the professionals were sincere and welcoming. I learned a lot of things, and I´m so excited to have acquired new skills and knowledge.” At the program’s conclusion, a beneficiary from Afghanistan was offered an internship at Salesforce.
