Volunteering for Older Adults

United Way believes everyone has the right to age in good health with dignity in their home and community. Some seniors have simple needs, but if they live in isolation it means they may not get the help they deserve. 

To help older adults stay connected to their community and be independent in their home, United Way Greater Nigeria aided 230 seniors by providing care packages and thoughtful letters made by remote volunteers. These care packages included staple food items, hygiene essentials, and face masks.
